A Time Honored Tradition

Hardin, Jesson & Terry, PLC is a general practice law firm. Our team approach, dedication and personalized attention allows us to serve the individualized needs of our clients in virtually all aspects of civil law.

Our History

Hardin, Jesson & Terry, PLC was founded in 1909 by G.C. Hardin. As Fort Smith established itself as a commercial center at the intersection of the Arkansas and Poteau Rivers, our firm embodied the principles that characterized the time: integrity, ingenuity and diligence. Building on these fundamental principles, the attorneys of Hardin, Jesson & Terry, PLC have the skills and resources to handle the diverse legal needs of our clients in today’s complex and ever changing environment.

Integrity

For over a century, our clients have expected and received consistent and skilled counsel and representation tailored to meet their unique goals. Our integrity is based on the fundamental legal principle that every representation must serve the needs of our clients and the goals of our community. Our attorneys use their skills and knowledge to advise and represent clients to meet legal challenges with insight, integrity and a focus towards the future.

Ingenuity

Our commitment to ingenuity commands that we stay at the forefront of technology to serve our clients in a productive and efficient manner. We believe technology resources should be driven by the needs of our clients. Our attorneys and paralegals work extensively with our clients’ technology departments and outside consultants to meet e-discovery needs. Our technology and resources, including document management and trial software, allow us to deliver cost-effective services, while maintaining the personal client relationships that define our firm.

Diligence

While the cornerstone to our representation is the specialized skills and personal attention of our attorneys, every facet of our firm is dedicated to serving our clients. Our support staff is comprised of nurses and paralegals, who work closely with our attorneys, to provide a comprehensive approach to client representation. We routinely partner with trial and jury consultants on voir dires, witness preparations, opening statements, closing arguments and trial graphics to ensure that key themes and arguments are consistently communicated to and received by jurors.

Although our practice has evolved to meet the needs of today’s clients, we remain as dedicated today, as we were in 1909, to the principles established and embodied by Mr. Hardin: integrity, ingenuity and diligence.
